FIRST ANNUAL ANATOMY RESEARCH DAY 2025

Event Date: Thursday, 15th May 2025 

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM 

Venue: Medical College Main Auditorium, King Saud University 

We are pleased to announce the First Annual Anatomy Department Research Day, which will showcase cutting-edge research in Anatomy, Histology, and Stem Cell Biology. We invite both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as non-PhD researchers, to submit abstracts for presentation. 

• Clinical Anatomy 
• Histology and Microscopic Anatomy 
• Embryology 
• Neuroanatomy 
• Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine 
• Cancer Biology  

1. The topic must be related to the fields listed above.
2. Both published and unpublished abstracts are welcome.
3. Completed projects will be given priority, but ongoing research is also welcome.
4. The abstract should not exceed 300 words (excluding the title, authors, and affiliations).
5. One figure or table may be included (not part of the word count).
6. Multiple submissions are allowed.

• Deadline for submission: Thursday, 19th December 2024. 
• Please submit your abstract in Word format via the online application or send to the following email: ammahmood@ksu.edu.sa 
• The subject line of the email should follow this format: Anatomy Research Day_Last Name (e.g., Anatomy Research Day_Shaheen). 
• Authors of selected abstracts will be notified via email by Wednesday, 15th January 2025.  

• Oral Presentations (15 minutes each). 
• Poster Presentations. 

• 1st Place (Oral Presentation): 5000 SR 
• 2nd Place (Oral Presentation): 3500 SR 
• 3rd Place (Oral Presentation): 2500 SR 
• The Best Poster Presentation: 1000 SR 

• Poster printing costs will be covered by the Anatomy Department. 
• Presenting authors must be available on the day of the event to be eligible for prizes.
