The Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine, King Saud University, is one of the oldest and most distinguished departments in the college. It serves as a cornerstone of medical education and a center for academic and research excellence. The department offers comprehensive programs in human anatomy, embryology, and histology, built on a modern curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical applications. The department proudly offers outstanding postgraduate programs at both the master’s and Ph.D. levels, through which it has graduated a distinguished group of academics and researchers who have become influential figures in education and research. 

Education & Experience

Our Training Workshops

Training is very essential in the medical field because it creates a positive and motivated workforce environment to enhance clinical practices and learn new strategies that is reflected on patient safety and satisfaction. The healthcare field is changing rapidly, in which it requires extensive skills and training. Continuous education is important to possess highly skilled staff with retention and performance for better learning outcomes. Therefore, clinical anatomy lab is providing training services that include capacity to host training workshops with other departments and companies in the industry of healthcare profession to meet the demands of learning quality and training skills.

Our Academic Courses

The department of anatomy offers several annual training courses for medical students and healthcare professionals who seek advanced knowledge and enhanced hands-on skills that add more significant values to their careers. Thus, clinical anatomy lab has the capacity and experiences to organize these courses and host them in the department to provides the up-to-date knowledge on the field of the training scope. The faculties, the training hall, and the equipment are among the valid tools for training success. The positive reputation and long experiences possessed by the department of anatomy are the title of excellence and creativity in organizing and hosting training courses.
